- Hinata Hyuuga (Naruto)
- Mikasa Ackerman (Attack on Titan)
- Shigure Kousaka (Kenichi)
- Nico Robin (One Piece)
- Fubuki (One Punch Man)
- Ryuuko Matoi (Kill la Kill)
1. Hinata Hyūga (Naruto)
Naruto is a story about an orphan who one day dreams of becoming the leader of the village hidden in the leaves. He is the host on the 9-tailed beast, making him an outcast amongst all the adults in the village. His unwavering quality to never run from his problems catche the eyes of Hinata who falls in love with him at first sight. Hinata becomes very inspired by Naruto, giving her the determination to better herself and grow stronger. She was one of the very few characters to accept Naruto early in the series as they both had a depressing childhood. Him being an orphan and her not living to her family’s expectations.
Hinata is a powerful kunoichi who posesses the Byakugan allowing her to have a near-360 degree vision, see through walls, and view objects from a long distance away. Her greatest moment comes from the time she was willing to sacrifice herself for the one she loved and admired.
2. Mikasa Ackerman (Attack on Titan)
Attack on Titan takes place in a dystopian world where man-eating titans roam the world and humanity is on the verge of extinction. The last of humanity must live inside cities surrounded by three gigantic walls protecting them from the titans.
Mikasa joins the survey corps to watch over and protect Eren and his dream to annihilate every titan and free his friends from the shackles of the walls. She is the most competent vertical manoeuvring equipment user in her age group and has been referred to as having the worth of a hundred soldiers. Because she is an Ackerman, she has awakened power which bloomed at a very young age after witnessing her parent’s death. This gives her fighting instincts that far surpass ordinary humans. What makes Mikasa such a compelling character is that she is willing to sacrifice everything for Eren, who she unconditionally loves because of their shared childhood trauma.
3. Shigure Kousaka (Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi)
History’s strongest disciple Kenichi tells the story of Shirama Kenichi, a physically weak student who is a long-time victim of bullying. To learn self-defence, Shirahama joins the karate club only ridiculed by the other members of the club. He befriends a transfer student Miu Furinji who introduces him to her dojo called Ryozanpaku to learn martial arts. Unbeknownst to him, the masters are planning to make Kenichi the strongest disciple the world has ever seen.
Shigure is a resident of Ryozanpaku. She is the youngest master of Ryozanpaku having mastered all forms of weapons combat. This earned her the title of “The prodigy of Swords and Weapons”. While Shigure may look unapproachable and reserved, she is in fact very kind and wants to help others. She has a hard time expressing herself which makes her a very interesting and fun character.
4. Nico Robin (One Piece)
One Piece is about the boy Monkey D Luffy who goes out to sea to become the Pirate King. He meets many exceptional individuals who join him to on his journey to achieve their grand dreams.
Nico Robin has the strongest mental fortitude out of anyone else on this list. She had a traumatic childhood having to witness everyone and everything she loved get taken away from her. Her dream is to uncover the secrets of the world and events during the void century. However, she realises that there are too many enemies standing in her way and loses her will to live. When she is prepared to die, Luffy appears and saves her life. With nowhere to go, she asks Luffy to join the Straw Hat Pirates and becomes their archaeologist.
Nico Robin has eaten the Blossom Blossom devil fruit allowing her to blossom parts of her body anywhere she wants. Speed doesn’t matter to her as she can blossom parts of her body on her opponents and lock them into submission.
5. Fubuki (One Punch Man)
One Punch Man follows the story of an unbelievably powerful hero with the ability to defeat any supervillain with one punch. Because of his insane strength, many fights end in a very repetitive way, making many interesting battles come from the side characters.
Fubuki although overshadowed by her much more powerful older sister Tatsumaki, is still nothing to scoff at. Her psychokinesis prowess allow her to fly, create barriers, and launch powerful attacks at her opponents. Her signature move is Hell Storm, launching a tornado that draws surrounding rubble and debris at her opponents. Going into the web comic spoiler territory, she was able to nullify dragon level monster attacks by training herself to gain complete control over the travel route of her projectiles. Fubuki has also been consistently shown to have the drive and motivation to become strong enough to stand alongside her sister. Her determination to grow and evolve makes her a very inspirational character.
6. Ryūko Matoi (Kill la Kill)
Ryūko Matoi is the fearless and hot-blooded protagonist of the shonen anime series Kill la Kill. On her search to avenge her father, she arrives at the prestigious Honnouji Academy ruled by the cold-hearted Satsuki Kiryuuin.
